Tackling Modern Slavery in the UK
Sublix opposes forced labour, human trafficking, child labour, debt bondage and other forms of modern slavery. We expect our suppliers and production partners to follow applicable labour, safety and human-rights laws.
Important status note: unless Sublix confirms that it meets the legal reporting threshold and approves a formal statement, this page should be treated as a practical anti-slavery policy, not a statutory Modern Slavery Act section 54 statement.
Supplier expectations
- Workers should be employed freely and treated with dignity and respect.
- Workers should not have identity documents withheld as a condition of work.
- Working conditions should comply with applicable safety, wage, age and labour requirements.
- Suppliers should not use forced, bonded, trafficked or unlawful child labour.
Practical checks
- We aim to work with suppliers who can explain where and how products are made.
- We may ask suppliers for information about labour standards, production sites or subcontracting where relevant.
- We may stop working with a supplier if serious labour or safety concerns are identified and not addressed.
